Oh no! Hannah gets in the way and is kind of part of a mission, how will that turn out?
Ugh. I've about had it. The show is getting near to the point Heroes got last season, when I decided to stop watching it. Thankfully, there's the Olympics now and we won't get any new episodes before March, so I'll have some time without Chuck, let's see if the disappointment wears off and I might even start watching it again.
The episode itself. A couple of decent fight scenes. And that's about everything good I can find. The Morgan and Ellie being suspicious about Chuck part doesn't really turn out into anything. They just think he's heartbroken. Woo. And we get a love-pentagram thing going on. Morgan-Hannah-Chuck-Sarah-Shaw. It's pretty terrible. I mean, Hannah coming to the Buy More because he thinks Chuck is worth all that. Huh. Why not get a decent job nearby. I mean, doesn't everyone already know that office romances suck? They're terrible if they get started in the workplace, but actually going to work at the same place as your "love target" is a bit too stalkerish in my opinion.
The museum. Who the hell designs a security system for the museum that's designed to kill would-be thieves. In 50 minutes, was it? And then not have people on the site to operate the system in case something malfunctions, as the workers presumed was the case. Suspension of disbelief, anyone? And calling random tech support to operate the system. A system like that isn't the same as telling someone to turn it off and on again.
But the love thing. Oh the horrible love thing, I feel like I'm watching 90210 or something. Morgan is now heartbroken. Chuck and Hannah are happy together. Sarah and Shaw are happy together, but Sarah is worried and Shaw is over-confident. Sarah should be worried, seeing as the Ring has some sort of board of shadowy figures that looks a bit too silly to believe.
And the ending. It seems the team is about to leave again, leaving Chuck alone. It wasn't too believable the first time they said it was going to happen. Nor the second, third or fourth time. Now they're saying it again? A bit too rehashy in my opinion. What with the last episode being the same episode as "Chuck Versus the Sandworm" from the first season, only to show how Chuck has grown in the meantime. Bah.
I'm sorry, Chuck, but I can't go on like this. Either you change or I'm leaving you.
PS: Thanks to Patrick for covering for me last week after I had my wisdom tooth cut out and was in horrible horrible pains. Thank you, Patrick.
